It was a sad day for the WNBA.
It was even sadder for myself. You know what's
worse than a WNBA catfight? Actually watching it live. Now, I can explain. The game ran longer than the expected broadcast schedule, so I thought I was tuning into something else. But I did keep it on long enough to watch the series of events.

The Detroit Shock won its third WNBA championship
yesterday by sweeping the San Antonio Silver Stars in
three straight games. Last year, Detroit lost in the finals at home to the Phoenix Mercury and as a result, the victory was particularly sweet.
