COLD WAR BETWEEN BOLDIN, CARDINALS
The Bad News Bloggers found this 8/18/2008 on www.profootballtalk.com
On the surface, everything appears to be fine. Arizona Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin wants a new contract, realizes he’s not going to get one that reflects his market value, and plans to honor the final three years of the deal before moving ...A star set to return to practice while another asks to be traded.

The Eagles have yet another reason to pursue Anquan Boldin. Kevin Curtis, the Eagles number one wide receiver, will be out for "quite a while" according to head coach Andy Reid. Curtis will undergo surgery on Thursday for a sports hernia and is expected to be out for at least part of the season. This is a pretty big blow to the already thin Eagles receiving group. Number two wideout.....Anquan Boldin...Traded?

Brace yourself, Cardinals fans. Wide Receiver Anquan Boldin isn’t happy and, according to his agent, he wants out. This is jaw-dropping stuff. This is incredible news. The city of Arizona will flip upside down if Boldin is traded. A legend in the city can’t be dealt like this over such a small impasse!TSF Football Friday.

Welcome to Football Friday. Each Friday I’ll focus in on some of the goings on around the NFL and offer my insight as well. Let’s get started…. The sudden death of NFLPA Executive and Hall of Famer Gene Upshaw has left the Players Union in a scramble for a successor. With a possible capless season on 2010, the NFLPA would like to have someone in place as soon as ...Key to Winning Without Curtis? It’s Already Here

As reported earlier this week, Eagles star receiver Kevin Curtis is out with a sports hernia and will have surgery today, Thursday. There is no timetable for his comeback, as Coach Reid simply said it would be “a while.” Teams try to make it through training camp and pre-season as injury free as possible, knowing [...]The Saga Continues

I can’t seem to shake this Anquan Boldin thing. You know about it. You might have heard on newsradio, or tv, or the newspaper, or the internet, or maybe your mother who doesn’t even pay attention to the NFL and says to you “Hey, what about Anquan Boldin?”, that he wants out of Arizona . He’s done. Thinks the organization is full of liars, especially coach ...A solution for the Cardinals’ in the Boldin situation

The Anquan Boldin situation seems to be at a standstill. Boldin continues to badmouth everyone in the Cardinals’ front office, and other employees who may have sat in on negotiation meetings. There is, however, no truth to the rumor that Boldin no longer talks to the guy who delivered sandwiches to said meeting–at least that’s what the delivery guy told profootballtalk.com. ...Here We Go Again...

Anquan Boldin wants out of Arizona . They promised him and his super- asshole agent Drew Rosenhaus they'd redo his contract, but no progress has been made. Does this sound like a familiar scenario to anyone? "Although Boldin previously denied asking for a trade, he said Tuesday that his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, has asked the Cardinals to consider it now. “At the beginning of camp, I hadn’t ...AZ WR Corps - Acrimony Between Boldin and Cards Grows Stronger

About a month ago, I alerted readers to the bad attitude that Anquan Boldin arrived to training camp projecting - he was slagging the organization whenever the opportunity presented itself. Well, as the team has not caved into Boldin’s contract demands (he wants to be paid as well as (or better than) Larry Fitzgerald - a $10-million a year contract), Boldin has gotten even more ...Coach And Boldin Are Communicating, as Long as That Includes Talking

Obviously, Ken Whisenhunt was going to have something to say in response to yesterday's reports that he was tampering with contract extension talks and not communicating with Anquan Boldin ... unless, of course, those reports were true. If that was the case, he likely would have just gone with the no comment route. But it's not the case ... "You guys have been at practice every day, we've ...Why Wouldn't the Titans Trade for Anquan Boldin?

This from titanbt53: Anquan Boldin wants to be traded. Yes, his agent is Drew Rosenhaus. Yes, he has a 4 year 22 million contract. But isn’t that around what we gave Givens?? It’s obvious Vince needs an exceptional reciever. We get that with Boldin. And for what?? A second round pick, which I expect would be around the 50-55th pick of the draft. It’s about time ...Anquan Boldin wants no part of the Arizona Cardinals, Should the Tampa Bay Buccaneers trade for him?

The saga of upset Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin has taken another twist, as now the unhappy pass catcher has asked the club to trade him. It was just on Monday that it came out that Boldin and head coach Ken Whisenhunt are not even on speaking terms at this point, and Boldin has been outspoken that when his deal is up in three years he would not resign with the Cards. While fantasy managers must be pleased that Anquan Boldin is in training camp, there are some concerns when it comes to his value, since the contract negotiations are clearly weighing on him. Boldin told the media that he will not talk to his head coach, and that the situation was a distraction. On that note, Boldin should remain a fine fantasy option, though there is some concern that he may ...Boldin Requests Trade

Reportedly Anquan Boldin is considering walking out on the Arizona Cardinals if his contract needs don’t get met. I was going to pen (I guess type is the better term here because I haven’t put pen to paper since college) yet another take on why the Anquan Boldin situation will distract the Cardinals, who is to blame (obviously Drew Rosenhaus) and how it could possibly send the Cardinals into another disappointing season but what’s the point. Despite apparent rumors to the contrary, we’re told that the Cardinals and the Eagles presently are not discussing a trade that would send receiver Anquan Boldin to Philly and cornerback Lito Sheppard to Arizona. That said, such a move would make sense. Boldin wants out of Arizona, and Sheppard wants out of Philadelphia. The Eagles need a receiver [...]Anquan Boldin Still Wants Traded, Cardinals Still Refuse

So Anquan Boldin is disgruntled. Still. He wants the Cardinals to trade him. Again. The Cardinals refuse to deal him . Again.
