Reaction was predictably swift Sunday among fellow Nationwide Series team owners in the wake of NASCAR inspectors catching Joe Gibbs Racing trying to alter the result of chassis dyno tests on the cars of Tony Stewart and Joey Logano. [link]

... calling someone shiftless is about on par with kicking their dog or talking about their momma in an uncomplimentary manner.  In the usual manner of such incidents, Toyota claimed ignorance of any impropriety and J.D. Gibbs blamed unnamed people inside the Nationwide team for not conforming to the high moral standards that Joe Gibbs Racing expects. Joe Gibbs Racing came out on Sunday apologizing for the incident with the dyno test. The Toyota boss though is not happy about what Joe Gibbs Racing did to rig the engines.
