But so many years ago, I broke into a steady, loud clap when the Bears selected him from Purdue. That year he had 31 TDs against just 5 picks and he seemed super-cool in the pocket. Football betting stats show that Orton played the Bears’ first three series in their preseason opener last week, completing 7 of 10 passes for 56 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions according to NFL betting stats. Grossman replaced Orton with 4:31 left in the first half and completed 4 of 8 passes for 44 yards with 1 TD and no interceptions according to NFL betting stats.
