ATS Experts This is something to watch. I feel more bench NBA players will begin to make the transition across the pond for more money and more minutes. There are quite a few young NBA players that have simply not made the transition from the college game to the NBA game. I think that not only NBA players but we could see a few more "daring" high school players head to Europe for the quick cash, play a year or two and enter the NBA draft.

Well, it looks like he wasn't bluffing.
ESPN is reporting that Josh Childress has agreed to terms with Olympiakos to become the first, as far as I know, US-born NBA player in the prime of his career to turn down a guaranteed long term NBA contract in order to play in Europe.
We discussed some of the implications of this trend on a FanPost earlier this week. But let me just say that I'm stunned.
It's a fascinating decision, at once narrow-minded (he wants the most money possible) and open-minded (he's open to living in Europe, experiencing a life other than the NBA, perhaps blazing a trail for others).

Not that the Jazz were giving any signs of making such a deal (thanks for the effort Kevin), it was just a pipe dream that a few of us fans/writters were having.
