 Rough night for Hughes Links1
Not the greatest of nights for Phil Hughes: 3.2 innings, 8 hits, 5 earned runs, 0 walks, 4 strikeouts, 1 HR, 91 pitches, 63 strikes. This certainly creates a question about who should start on Saturday. Melky Cabrera has walked three times. He had two walks in his last 39 games in the majors. [link]
