Old Chinese Women Kill Olympic Buzz
Published 8/21/2008 by Mustafa Redonkulous (noreply@blogger.com) at Deuce of Davenport | Sports News, Commentary, Humor, Videos
Stupid old hags. You old Chinese women have some nerve. Protesting about abuses and corruption. Don't they know the Olympics are happening? Don't they know all is well and there's nothing to see in China besides the glory of the Middle Kingdom? Don't you know your home was sacrificed for the betterment of the country? Can't you see NBC is filming an infomercial about all the wonderful things China has to offer? Re-education through labor will make you see how your request to protest would ruin everything. Sluts. ...

China Sends Two 70-Year-Old-Women To Re-Education Labor Camp For Wanting To Protest During The Olympics
Published 8/21/2008 at FanIQ Blog
As these Olympics wind down, I think China did a pretty good job. I mean, aside from the totally illegal underage gymnasts, letting an American get murdered, denying all requests for protests, the excessive smog and preventing journalists from full internet access (even though China said they'd get full access), it's gone pretty smoothly, hasn't it? But, you know China. They just can't help themselves when it comes to making comically hilarious human rights violations. Yesterday, Chinese police brought the smack down on two women who dared protest the fact that their homes had been torn ...

GE is Hard at Work in China

I saw this ad for the first time last night while watching some of NBC’s completely unbiased coverage of the Olympics. I’m normally not a fan of commercials/shows/movies/songs/media in general that incorporate cutesy romance into their message, but the makers of this spot for GE managed to do it well enough that I actually didn’t mind watching the male protagonist chase after the object of ...
