It's not much of a surprise at this point, except when you consider how long Major League Baseball had held out. After years of fans agonizing over understandably blown home run calls, baseball will employ instant replay on questionable boundary calls. Baseball purists just pooped their pants. Umpires and baseball management signed an agreement on Wednesday that will allow instant replay to determine calls on the field. Though they haven't figured out when it will begin, instant replay will be limited to boundary calls, including whether fly balls are fair, foul, or over the fence. Thoughts?
