Tiki Barber at one time was considred a fan favorite of the New York Giants but with the remarks he made about Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin it seemed as if Barber was putting down the New York Giants if you don’t remeber this is what Barber had to say about his former coach.

“[Coughlin] robbed me of what had been one of the most important things I had in my life, which was the joy I felt playing football,” Barber wrote. “I had lost that. He had taken it away.”

Barber not only did he put down his coach and Quarterback he also put down the Giants organization who he said under paid him about 10 million with all that said last night I wonder what was going through Barber bald head as Tynes kicked a 47 yard field goal to take the Giants to the SuperBowl? Damn I can’t believe these clowns are going to the SuperBowl without me.  Barber put the team and the organization down in his little book that came out in September. I wonder during these next two weeks will we hear Barber say any good things about his former organization. Well Barber you got what you wish for you’re off this team and now you can sit next to all the people at NBC and talk about??? Who cares Go Giants !!!

I give Tiki credit. Throwing his former coach and teammates under the bus might have provided exactly the motivation the Giants needed. Clearing the way for Bradshaw to get some touches didn't hurt, either.

Gotta love karma.  He had some great all star years but he'll be mostly remembered for this.

Tiki is a classless douche, and a real me me me kind of pretty boy.

Hopefully NBC will get rid of him, he really brings nothing to that Sunday Night Football show.

Where’s Tiki Barber Now?
Published 1/22/2008 by Larry Brown at Larry Brown Sports
... Not long after the Giants had won the NFC title game, advancing to the Super Bowl, did the question pop into my head: Where’s Tiki Barber now? Ballhype reminded me of this thought and now I must ask it again. Where’s Tiki Barber now? I never really got into the whole Eli vs. Tiki bout that started earlier in the year, but I was quite disappointed with Tiki. His first move out of the field and into the broadcast chair and he’s ripping guys he played with no less than a year before? That was poor form. Poor form. He never needed to ...

I Wonder How Shockey And Tiki Feel
Published 1/22/2008 by Chris at Intentional Foul
... blog, there are two noticeable absences from the New York Giants as they make their trek to Phoenix: Jeremy Shockey and Tiki Barber, the two most recognizable Giants faces not named Eli Manning and Michael Strahan. While Barber is retired from the NFL, many feel he left with plenty left in the tank and that it was his unhappiness with Coach Tom Coughlin that caused him to hang up the cleats for a cushy microphone job. ...

The Giants? Is The World Ending?
How the hell did the New York Giants make it to the Super Bowl? I bet you Tiki Barber feels like a complete idiot right now. Kudos to the Giants, though. I would have never have picked this outcome. Eli Manning in a Super Bowl? I just cannot believe this crap. Let’s hope the Giants can [...]
